Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her role as Detective Diane Russell. She is best known for her part as a character in All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. Delaney is the daughter of an executive in the United Auto Workers who was also a mother. Delaney has four older brothers. She envisioned becoming a court reporter during her early years, but began modeling in high school eventually garnering commercials when she moved into New York. Her first film role was as a teen innocent on All My Children, a soap-opera from 1981. Delaney appeared in a number of films, television movies and dramas after that. Her personal life unlike her professional one has nt been a success and has not been happy. This actress who's gifted and stunning, has had to battle drinking before. The marriages she has had failed two times. In 2005, she was denied the custody of her son.
